Student ministry

The greatest service we provide for middle- and high-school students is the discipleship of their parents. We want to come alongside parents and help equip them to disciple their children. The Bible is clear, the ones who are primarily responsible for the discipleship of students are the parents. So here at FBC Wolfforth, our goal is to reach beyond the students to the parents to ultimately equip the family to follow Jesus together. Strong students come from strong families. We also hope to come alongside each other and disciple the students among us in these ways:

CORNERSTONE: WEDNESDAY, 6:30–8:00 P.M.

Every Wednesday night during the school year our students (6th-12th grade) gather together to hang out, play games, hear a message from God’s Word, and break down into small groups to discuss it. This fall, in light of Covid, we will meet outdoors at Patterson Park instead of in our Activities Building.

FOCUS: STUDENT SUNDAY SCHOOL, 9:20 A.M.

Focus is a Sunday School class specifically geared toward students. Classroom topics may vary but it’s always about getting to know Jesus through His Word. During our time of phased reopening, our Sunday School classes have halted meeting, but will resume on October 4th, 2020.
