household worship | First Baptist Church

This is a resource page for households to use on Sunday, July 12, 2020. If you are unable to gather with us during this time of epidemic restrictions, we pray these will serve you and your family in approaching God’s gracious throne this Lord’s Day.

During this time of phased re-opening and re-gathering, we’ll be providing a livestream of our Sunday service. We admit it’s not the highest quality, but we hope it’s encouraging for those who can’t join us in person. You can find our livestream here on our facebook page.

If you are looking for more song suggestions especially suited for difficult times, here is one helpful list.

The best way to give your regular offering is to mail a check to our post office box. Many banks also have an online bill payment service that includes printing and mailing checks for you. You might consider that if you don’t have a paper check and stamps handy. The church mailing address is P.O. Box 740, Wolfforth, TX 79382.

Each 3-week division of our children’s curriculum has one Bible Truth and one Scripture Verse. That truth and verse are explained through an Old Testament passage on Week 1, a story from church history on Week 2, and a New Testament passage on Week 3. This week’s lesson is Unit 4, Truth 1, Week 1.

The Bible Truth is, “The LORD Is A Glorious Spirit.”

The Verse is John 4:24, “God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.

This week’s story is from the Old Testament, called The Case of the Strange Sightings.

Here are the activity pages, and a suggested craft.
